92 points, Cigar Aficionado
The Partagás Serie P No. 2 is a cigar of immense presence and structural beauty. Its tapered head allows the smoker to control the intensity of the draw, focusing the brand's signature "Serie" flavours directly onto the palate. Unlike more mellow pyramids, the P2 wastes no time, immediately introducing the smoker to a profound depth of earthy minerals and spice. As the ring gauge expands toward the foot, the smoke becomes increasingly voluminous, revealing a creamy, leathery texture that balances the cigar's inherent strength. This is a celebratory vitola that demands a leisurely pace, perfect for a long evening of quiet reflection or as the centrepiece of a social gathering among true aficionados.
